Ms. Tahsinah Ahmed is the first female and sixth Executive Director of UCEP Bangladesh. Ms. Ahmed obtained her MSS degree in Public Administration from the University of Dhaka. She has a long career of about 30 years working in and leading the sectors of Education, Poverty Alleviation, Technical & Vocational Education and Training, Skills Development and Migration for Development etc. She has worked for the UN, national and international development organizations and Bilateral Donor Agencies. She has contributed to the sectors by developing primers, curriculums, supplementary teaching-learning materials, education and skills development modules, programmes, departments etc. She has also contributed to institution building and policy development in the above-mentioned sectors. She has served institutions like UNESCO, ActionAid, Save the Children, the Swiss Agency for Development and Corporation of the Embassy of Switzerland, BRAC etc. before joining UCEP Bangladesh. She is contributing at strategic level in a number of prestigious forums including the National Human Resource Development Fund, the National Child Labour Working Committee, the Executive Committee of the Bangladesh Employer’s Federation, the National Steering Committee of Generation Unlimited (GenU) Bangladesh, the Informal Sector Industry Skills Council , the Education Local Consultative Group, the Education Watch Advisory Committee, the Literacy and Continuing Education Network Convening Committee, the Working Group for International Cooperation in Skills Development, the Network for International Policies and Cooperation in Education and Training (NORRAG) etc. Previously, she also served as a member of the Executive Committee of the National Skills Development Council, the Drafting Committee for the National Skills Development Council Act 2015 etc.

Mr. Didarul Anam Chowdhury, is currently serving as Director Programme and Innovations in UCEP Bangladesh. He has more than 30 years of professional experience with a number of I/NGOs including Save the Children, BRAC, British Council, Unicef, CARE International and BRDB for providing strategic and programmatic leadership to design and implement a number of education, humanitarian, livelihood focused social development programs across the country. He also worked for Food & Agriculture Organization (FAO) in West Africa (Ghana). In addition, he played vital role in developing a number of strategy documents with national interest on different aspect of education sector including Comprehensive Skill Framework for Adolescent in Bangladesh for 21 Century.
He has been providing strategic and programmatic leadership to UCEP Bangladesh since July 2019 to cater quality education and TVET & Skill development including decent employment to more than 35,000 children, adolescent and young adults annually from underprivileged community.He is leading UCEP Bangladesh’s programme as a member of the SMT.

Ms. Nazmun Nahar joined at UCEP Bangladesh as Director, Finance and Compliance on June 16, 2019. She possesses extensive competencies and experiences of 17 years in financial management, financial reporting, financial analysis, budgeting, grants and compliance, internal control, corporate governance, accounting and auditing in business organizations, local and international NGOs. She is experienced in applying IFRSs, IASs and ISAs; conversant with US GAAP; skilled in developing, implementing and evaluating financial policies and procedures.
Ms. Nahar worked at Apex Foods Limited; a 100% export oriented Public Ltd. Co., ACNABIN, Chartered Accountants, an independent member of Baker Tilly International, BRAC, the largest non-governmental development organisation in the world and CARE Bangladesh, one of the world's largest international humanitarian organizations. She held position of Manager – Finance and Admin, Sr. Assistant Manager- Audit and Consultancy, Manager- Finance and Accounts, Sr. Financial Analyst respectively. She handled USAID funded project for more than three years. She was one of the implementer of globally respected financial analysis software Adaptive Planning and PeopleSoft environment at CARE Bangladesh.
she was working at BRAC EPL Investments Limited – a public Limited Company runs under merchant bank license as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). She handled Finance & Accounts, Taxation, treasury, Secretarial, special asset management, Human resource and compliance.
Ms. Nahar completed HSC with 7th place in Dhaka Board from Bharateshwari Homes College and obtained her Honors and Masters degree in Accounting from of Dhaka. She passed four papers out of five of CA final examination called Professional Examination (PE) – III under Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh. She is currently pursuing the Advance Level of CA examination.

Mr. Iqbal has more than 20 years of experience in the realm of Human Resource, Organizational Development and support functions with different leading national, multinational and international organizations. Currently, Mr. Hossain is working as Director, People and Operations of UCEP Bangladesh. Before joining UCEP Bangladesh, he worked for Action Aid International; both Bangladesh and Afghanistan country offices as Director HROD & IT. During his work tenure with ActionAid Afghanistan, he was entrusted with the duty as Interim/Acting Country Director of ActionAid Afghanistan for 10 months.
During his diverse career, he also worked in Nonviolence Peaceforce, Sri Lanka, CARE International Bangladesh and PRAN-RFL business conglomerate. For the last 9 years, Mr. Hossain has been working as a member of Senior Management Team member and thus actively contributing to the strategic decision-making processes. He started his career as a Lecturer in Marketing. Mr. Iqbal achieved Master degree in Marketing from Dhaka University, MBA (Major in HR) from East West University and Post-graduate Diploma from Bangladesh Institute of Management.
